Last week i bought Pioneer Premier TS-SW841D Sub replace for old subwoofer. it has good sound and nice range of bass tones. it's very nice desing and strong subwoofer. Overall, very happy. More bass support than I needed or thought possible from my install.I'm very happy.

By A. RaringI went with a completely invisible subwoofer install by putting this in a box under the rear floor of a VW GTI. The box is very shallow. I run two channels of a small Sony amp supplying exactly the 140W or so that the speaker's owner's manual calls for. I had a sound shop run the wiring for all the components I had assembled. They admitted some serious surprise with the end result (although having a hatch back helps in that regard - might not be as impressive in a sedan trunk).

So far I love this speaker...I built a cabinet for it and put it in the passenger floor board of my miata. Takes about about 4" of depth from the passenger, but sounds awesome! I run it with a 300W Pioneer amp.
